Nothing New, but if you are new to Cloud Apps, or looking at them for the first time, this is a whistle stop history trip, how did we get here? what's different than EBS? Design Principles, Analytics available, all the things Oracle assume you know.

Cloud is around us and BI developers need an understanding of how it impacts them and the way that they design and connect to systems. Drawing on my experiences from working with pure cloud, and both forms of hybrid (cloud database, on premises BI tools and local database with cloud reporting) I look at some of the challenges before a more detailed look at setting up an Oracle Cloud solution that uses Cloud databases and Oracle BICS.

Tips & Tricks will be shared on a better and quicker PCS implementation. What traditional decisions on-premises are part of the cloud strategy? Can we reuse the same architecture principles and implementation patterns? Or do we need a new cloud strategy?
This presentation including a live demo of PCS will show the first steps of moving towards the Oracle Process Cloud.

Having given a summer webcast on this, lets explore further and build live a system during the session. This low code, low cost way of developing SaaS using the increasing number of REST APIs being delivered.
