How does Oracle separate data for the CDB and PDBs in the redo logs? How is the Oracle dictionary split across the CDB and the PDBs? In this session, we dive into these questions using actual dumps from the redo logs and consider their implications on day-to-day DBA work, database backup and recovery. As many of us are already familiar with multitenant in 12.1, we especially look for the differences that 12.2 brings.
